I just watched Jin Roh. So yeah .. I'm behind the time - everyone knows that :P.

I'm not gonna spoil the anime to you, because it's a lot more interesting to watch it yourself. Figure out who's the wolf and who's the little red riding hood.

Just that my emotions were overflowing when I was watching the movie. I'd expect just something average because of the setting and well.. the story. It's not new at all and (besides the suites) quite similar with human history.
However .. the conflicts arising and the feelings you think the characters have ... are simply amazing. There are scenes where the characters talk VERY little even though there was a lot to say and to ask. But they stay silent :(... which is good though: the German dub isn't bad, but it's not good either (average at best).

What I can and actually will tell you that this story is based on the little red riding hood story, which was first written down by the Brothers Grimm. HOWEVER!: the story they wrote is the children-friendly one. Jin Roh uses the more authentic one - what exactly and how.. this is what you should figure out on your own.

Since you still read, I've got a big request: if you have some more scans of Jin Roh, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE upload them here or send them to me directly :D. I'd "buy" them here too though.
What this (or these) scan(s) should contain, is: the second girl (not the one at the very beginning), the guy (unmasked!). The scan showing the girl running "away" (to the front with the face facing towards the back) would be amazing too - I want to make a wallpaper out of this.

"Make a vector" you say? Well: even though the quality of the source (the movie I've got) is quite good I don't believe it's decent enough (at the scenes I'd like to pick for the vector). Besides: by vectoring I often lose quality - because you stay absolutely true to the 3 colors you chose. It'd be better to shade it, but unfortunately it's TOO much work for me right now.
I've got 2 major projects going on (one is a reconstruction/extension of a scan and the other one is a highly-detailed vector trace out of a screenshot of a game) as well as some programming projects (webshop website and a project I'm not talking about just yet :P) so I'm too busy. If you would like to help me here (I have the screen and could send it, it's HDTV, but 720p I think) and at least create the vector, please send me a message :). I'd gladly accept this. Of course if it's just the vector of the girl, I'd credit you for your hard work on her!
